Age 86 of Pine City, NY. She was born in Elmira and passed away on November 5th, 2019. Lucia grew up on Mount Zoar Road in Elmira and graduated from Southside High School in 1952. After graduating, she moved to Pine Valley. She later married Edwin Mosher. Ed ran a service station, and Lucia did the bookkeeping. Ed and Lucia bought a farmhouse and stable in Big Flats where they raised and boarded horses. During this time, Lucia was a seamstress for over 200 people. Lucia was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Big Flats Fire Department. She enjoyed bowling, mowing her lawn, camping, but most of all, she loved going for rides in the country with Ed and her children as they were growing up. When she would go for rides by herself, she never had a plan; she would just jump in and drive the countryside through New York and Pennsylvania.
Lucia is pre-deceased by her loving husband Ed; parents Florence and Joseph Devon; in-laws Edwin and Ida Mosher; brother Bradley Devon; sisters Marjorie (Marge) Sluyter and Charolette Thomas.
