RODBOURNE, Richard T.
Age 60 of North Park Terrace in Big Flats passed away after a brief illness on Tues. Feb. 8, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Richard was born July 12, 1950 a son to the late Charles and Helen (Hammond) Rodbourne.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Emily Rodbourne Feb. 5, 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Mathews) Rodbourne;
Daughter, Sara Rodbourne of Ithaca, NY;
Brother, David (Marcie) and daughter
Brother-in-law, Kent (Pamela) Balcom of Virginia;
In-laws, Donald (Frances) Balcom of Kissimmee, FL,
Norman (Marion) Mathews of Horseheads, NY
Several nieces and nephews and many close and caring friends.
Richard was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Air Force.
He was retired from the maintenance department at Elmira College.
He enjoyed the outdoors, astronomy and always a cold beer with friends and family.
Those family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Thursday Feb. 10, 2011 from 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 pm. His service will take place on Friday at 10:00 am.
